The short version
- There are no accounts, logins or user profiles on this site.
- If you use the contact form, your name, email, subject and message are emailed to the publisher. The site itself does not store them.

- Analytics and advertising measurement are off by default and load only if you opt in.
Who is responsible
This site is published by [YOUR NAME / COMPANY], [CITY, STATE]. For any privacy question, email [CONTACT EMAIL] or use the contact form.
The contact form
When you send a message, the form transmits four things: your name, email address, chosen subject and message. These are delivered to the publisher by email through Resend, an email delivery provider that processes the message on our behalf in order to deliver it.
The site does not keep a database of messages. We use what you send only to read and reply to your message, and we keep the email only as long as needed to handle it. The form never asks for a phone number, printer model or error code. To limit abuse, the server briefly counts requests per connection; this counter is not linked to your message and is discarded automatically.
Consent and cookies
When you first visit, a small bar asks for your choices. Your answer is saved in a strictly necessary cookie
named cc_cookie, so we don't ask again on every page. Full details are in our
Cookie Policy.
Optional analytics (Microsoft Clarity)
If you accept the Analytics category, we may load Microsoft Clarity to understand, in aggregate, how pages are used, such as which sections people scroll past or where a layout is confusing. Clarity may set cookies and collect usage data such as clicks, scrolling and device information, processed by Microsoft under its own privacy statement. If you do not opt in, Clarity is never loaded.
Optional advertising measurement (Microsoft UET)
If you accept the Advertising category, we may load the Microsoft Advertising Universal Event Tracking (UET) tag to measure whether our ads lead to visits. Until you opt in, its consent state is set to "denied" and the tag is not loaded. If you later withdraw consent, we signal "denied" and stop loading it.
Web fonts
Our typefaces are served by Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser requests the font files directly from Google's servers, which means Google receives your IP address and basic browser information as part of that request. We do not send Google any other information about you.
Hosting and server logs
Like any website, our hosting infrastructure may record technical request data, such as IP address, time and requested page, for security and reliability. We do not use these logs to identify or profile readers.
Your choices and rights
You can change or withdraw cookie consent at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, or to object to its use. To make a request, email [CONTACT EMAIL]. We do not sell personal information.
Children
This site is a general-audience publication and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the site handles data, we will update this page and its "Last updated" date.
